The Flintham Museum


The Flintham Museum looks at rural life through the eyes of a twentieth-century village shopkeeper

Opening times

Bank Holiday Mondays, Easter to August 2.00-4.30pm
Sundays after Easter to end of October 2.00-4.30pm
Other times by appointment
Free admission, although donations are always welcome

Group bookings

Groups are welcome by appointment. Group visits usually include a visit to the parish church, a guided walk in the village conservation area including a rare mud dovecote, tea and biscuits, as well as the visit to the museum. There is a small charge which includes donations to the museum and church, the guided walk and refreshments.


The museum is accessible from the pavement along a permanent ramp. There is flat access into and throughout the building, and there is an adapted toilet.
